Ultimax Sprint Series starts next Monday!

Time – start between 5.30pm & 6.30pm on Monday 23rd January.

Place – starts at Warraroon Reserve at the end of Tambourine Bay Rd, Riverview. Turn off River Rd and head South. It’s right down by the water.

Format – 2.7km , 1 : 5000 map. Pick up your pre-marked map up at the start. Course runs mostly in the bush and on bush tracks. Some challenging controls & route choice options. Controls will be flags with punches. There will be electronic punch timing for the start & finish.

Extra options – there will be some extra controls in the forest, …so check your codes. If you wish to get some extra training in after the Sprint race, you can mark the extra controls on your map & get out there again.

Bring – full leg cover recommended … depending on your route choices! Bring some string for your control card.

Sydney Sprint Series on the cooking

Young Orienteers, including the members of the respectable NSW Stingers Orienteering Squad are planning a series of urban Sprint Races on Monday Nights during January/Feb 2006.No details are official as of today but the idea is to use urban maps like Sydney Uni, Bicentennial Park, Macquarie Uni and the like.
